I went Upstate again! This time to Peekskill, to hike up Blue Mountain. The Fall leaves were beautiful and the crisp air was refreshing. There was no one around except for Squirrels and Chipmunks, and it was the best way to spend a gloomy Sunday.

The Windy City
This morning I got back from 24 hours in Chicago. The weather was beautiful, and we managed to pack a lot in over the day! I’ve always had an interest in the city, because my favourite film critic and one of my favourite directors grew up there. Below is a quick look at what I got up to!
North Salem, NY
Yesterday was probably the most American day I’ve had so far. We took a train Upstate to North Salem, went apple picking, listened to live bluegrass music, and then baked apple pie. We took home so many apples, I’m going to be baking for days. It was a perfect Fall day, and I already can’t wait to go back Upstate.
Feels Like Fall
This morning I got up early to watch the sunrise over Central Park. I loved walking around while the morning air was crisp, and being alone in the city. There are several times I’ve felt alone, but few times I’ve literally been alone. I ended up walking from 59th Street West (Columbus Circle) to 90th Street East (Upper East Side). When visiting New York, Central Park cannot be missed.
The Last Days of Summer
After two Summers in a row, I’m finally starting to experience cooler weather. These last couple of weeks I’ve taken a disposable camera with me everywhere, to capture the last few moments of Summer.
The City That Never Sleeps
I started working full time a month ago, and since then the weeks have been flying by! I’ve mostly been using my disposable camera lately, so there are more photos to come! Below is what I’ve been up to, while juggling work, yoga and sleep.
A New York Minute
So much happens in this city in such a short period of time, which is one of the things I love about it. I’ve been living in NYC for over four months now, and below is what I’ve learnt (so far).
Upstate NY
After four months of living in the concrete jungle, I finally escaped for a day. We caught an 80 minute train ride upstate to Beacon, and visited the gallery there. We also took a hundred photos along the way.
Before
Before I grew my hair out, before I understood the intensity of homesickness, and before I experienced the craziness of this city, I visited one of my best friends James in Melbourne. Below are some of the photos we took back in March.
The Week That Was
This past week Elora has been visiting me on her way back from Europe with Lorna. We managed to fit in so much during the past few days, so here are the highlights!
